SAIC is seeking a Principal Software Systems Engineer to support the Software, Simulation, Systems Engineering and Integration (S3I) organization at Redstone Arsenal.
Requirements
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of the Microsoft .NET framework
- Demonstrate the ability to write and test C-Sharp code
- Demonstrate a working understanding of relational database design (Microsoft SQL Server preferred)
- Show proficiency in writing queries and stored procedures
- Have some experience building Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) applications
- Have familiarity with MVC and MVVM design patterns
- Demonstrate an understanding of object oriented design principles and best practices
Responsibilities
- Analysis of software requirements and specifications
- Provide input to system architecture design
- Participate in software development and sustainment activities
- Triage and resolve help desk tickets from the field
Other
- Bachelor's degree and nine (9) years’ experience; additional four (4) years’ experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
- Must possess an active Secret security clearance with the ability to maintain; US Citizenship required.
- Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security security clearance.
- No travel required.
