Raytheon is seeking a Principal Specialist, Global Trade to support export/import licensing and compliance activities for Naval Systems and Sustainment within Raytheon’s Naval Power (NP) Strategic Business Unit (SBU). The role will enable efficient, timely, and compliant transfers of technology, technical data, hardware, and services globally by supporting international capture, program, and supply chain efforts.
Requirements
- Experience researching and/or applying ITAR and EAR regulations
- Experience applying for, managing, and/or transacting against ITAR and EAR export authorizations
- Experience with DECCS, SNAP-R, , OCR EASE or similar Global Trade tools and/or systems
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience
Responsibilities
- Assist with the development of export authorization strategies for international marketing, sales, support, offshore procurement, and manufacturing of defense and dual use articles.
- Prepare and submit quality export/import license applications, agreements, eligible exemptions/exceptions and other requests for USG approval.
- Provide export/import authorization status updates to leadership and capture/program teams.
- Facilitate approvals for the physical export/import of hardware and other transactional activities involving controlled goods, information and services.
- Work with peers and stakeholders to determine and certify appropriate legal authority for exports of dual-use commodities and technology, defense articles; hardware, technical data and defense services, including determination of the appropriate export authorization, exemption, or exception.
- Represent Global Trade in meetings and discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in implementation of company procedures and instructions to support compliance with U.S. Government export/import regulations and company policy.

- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
