Raytheon Company is hiring a Principal Specialist, Global Trade, to support the Global Trade-Global Strategic Alignment (GTGSA) team. This role is set to support innovative compliance solutions for the Raytheon Human Resources, Security, Contracts, as well as other core functions. Requirements
- Experience working in a regulated environment or industry supporting licenses, agreements, compliance, transactional activities, application of regulations ITAR, EAR, and / or similar auditing and compliance roles
- Experience with Technical Assistance Agreement (TAA) and Manufacturing Licensing Agreement (MLA) preparation or administration using tools such as SNAP-R, OCR, DECCS, SAP/GTS or similar Global Trade systems
- Knowledge of Export Control Reform (ECR) and familiarization with Jurisdiction Classification Assessments
- Experience with non-US trade regulation regimes
Responsibilities
- Manage Global Trade project initiatives relating to Human Resources, Security, Contracts and other core functions.
- Work with cross-functional teams in the development of complex solutions while advocating and influencing decisions supporting Global Trade compliance.
- Draft International Traffic in Arms (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulation (EAR) export authorizations. Authorizations include Technical Assistance Agreements (TAAs), Manufacturing License Agreements (MLAs), DSP-5s, DSP-73s, DSP-85s, Exemptions and Exceptions.
- Provide consistent interpretation under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
- Manage day-to-day execution of agreements and licenses with oversight by Global Trade Manager, or Empowered Official, ensuring compliance for all activities under the agreements and licenses.
- Maintain applicable trade compliance records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Development and implementation of enterprise and business GT policies and procedures regarding the management of associated risk areas at domestic and international facilities.

- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- DoD Clearance: Secret
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience
- Human resources, security, or government contracting knowledge
- Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills to meet deadlines and achieve desired results
