Collins Aerospace is looking to solve the business problem of transforming engineering data into clear, actionable insights to drive operational excellence within the Strategic Communications Solutions (SCS) engineering directorate. This involves connecting engineering metrics with program outcomes, ensuring performance trends are visible, and enabling data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
- Experience with Microsoft O365 tools
- Proficiency with Excel and Power BI for data analysis, reporting, and dashboard visualization
Responsibilities
- Maintain and continuously update the SCS portion of the Strategic Solutions Control Tower, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of key metrics
- Design, build, and manage Excel models and Power BI dashboards to track and visualize program performance, staffing, and other critical business metrics
- Analyze staffing demand and supply to support workforce planning and decision-making
- Coordinate and consolidate data requests across multiple functions, enabling “one-time collection, multi-use” efficiency and reducing redundancy
- Develop, maintain, and update organizational charts, distribution lists, and process templates to streamline team operations and communication
- Oversee and improve onboarding effectiveness, including setup, role integration, and new hire check-ins
- Establish and organize centralized data repositories to enhance accessibility, knowledge management, and data-driven decision-making

- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- DoD Clearance: Secret
- Active or Existing Secret Security Clearance Preferred
- Organized and detail-oriented; able to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communicator and collaborator across functions
- Comfortable working on both structured projects and ad-hoc urgent tasks
