Northrop Grumman Advanced Weapons is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to develop next generation solutions for missile weapon systems, requiring close collaboration with internal teams and external partners for security architecture designs.
Requirements
- Experience with one or more Software languages/technologies: C/C++, Java, Python, C.
- Experience with full software lifecycle: specification, design, implementation, integration, debug, and maintenance are required.
- Experience in embedded software development.
- A year or more of experience working in an Agile team.
- Experience with software version control tools such as Git.
- Experience in embedded systems design with preemptive, multitasking real-time operating systems.
- Experience with embedded C++ optimization and using tools such as VxWorks.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement software for embedded devices and systems based on requirements.
- Design٫ develop٫ code٫ test and debug system software.
- Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle activities in an agile environment.
- Software requirements verification and validation.
