Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal / Sr Principal Engineer Electrical to support the Sentinel program, designing, documenting, and testing cables and breakout boxes, and integrating delivered LRUs under direction of the technical lead.
Requirements
- Electrical Engineer with some experience with hardware design
- Proficient with any electrical CAD tool set
- Must know how to design schematics and be good with detailed design work
- Familiar with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) processes (any tool)
- Comfortable understanding mil-specs and have an ability to understand and clarify system hardware requirements
- Capital Logic, Harness, and Systems Architect tool experience
- Experience with Siemens Team Center PLM
Responsibilities
- The qualified candidate will report to the Team Lead in C&L Infrastructure.
- They will design, document, and test cables and or breakout boxes.
- Conducts LRU interface research, process documents and collaborates with other engineers to determine best design for each set of cables.
- Will integrate delivered LRUs under direction of the technical lead.
Other
- US Citizenship with ability to obtain an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time
- 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors Degree in a STEM field of study; or 6 years of experience with a Masters; or 3 years of experience with a PhD.
