Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is seeking a Full Stack/DevOps Software Engineer in Dayton, OH to implement solutions in a web-based environment and integrate them into a microservice cloud-based architecture.
Requirements
- Strong Experience with containerization (Docker, Podman, CRI-O)
- Strong Experience with Kubernetes orchestration, Kubectl, Kustomize, Helm
- Experience with Python, Java, Linux, HTML, CSS,
- Experience with code management and related tools (Gitlab)
- Experience with Relational, Graph, or Document database.
- Exposure / experience with microservices, swagger and API definitions
- Experience with DevOps Pipelines (GitLab Runners)

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related STEM degree from an accredited institution with 5 years’ experience OR a master’s degree with 3 years’ experience OR PhD with 1 year experience OR a high school diploma or equivalent with 9 years’ experience.
- Ability to prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish project results
- Ability to comprehend and analyze complex problems and develop solutions
- U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
- Demonstrated experience working with the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC)
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with small technical teams
- U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions with a government clearance and certain other restricted positions.
