Requirements

  • Experience managing suppliers using Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) methods such as 5 Why, Fishbone, etc
  • Experience with process improvements using Six Sigma, Lean, or other analytical tools, and presenting data to various stakeholders
  • Experience working within aerospace/defense standards such as AS9100, AS9102, ISO-9000, and AS9145
  • Experience with CCA or PWB standards such as IPC-610, J-STD-001, IPC-600 and IPC-6012
  • Experience in DoD product and process oversight including requirements, build, integration, test and delivery
  • Experience with industry technical standards (such as ANSI, CMMI, ASTM, etc)
  • Six Sigma, Lean and / or American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certification (CQE, CQM/OE, CSQE, CQA, CRE, etc)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement process improvements and risk mitigation strategies across the supply base
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers, key partners, and stakeholders
  • Influence decision-making through quality assurance, aligning efforts with customer priorities and mission success
  • Interpret and communicate purchase order quality requirements to ensure supplier and subcontractor compliance
  • Ensure product requirements are properly flowed down and adhered to by internal teams and sub-tier suppliers
  • Assess supplier quality capabilities throughout the program lifecycle to meet objectives
  • Identify and resolve supplier risks and systemic issues through root-cause analysis and corrective actions

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
  • Typically requires a Bachelor of Science degree and 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and 5 years experience
  • About 25% domestic travel, including driving and occasional air travel as needed
  • Strong communication, meeting facilitation, and relationship-building skills are essential
