Fidelity is seeking a Principal Systems Analyst to aid in the development of high-quality applications servicing Risk and other business units, with a focus on modernizing a critical application that allows the firm to manage many types of risks.

Requirements

• UML/Design/Systems design
• Familiar with Java, Angular, HTML, CSS, Typescript, JavaScript, and Spring.
• Knowledge of consuming HTTP based APIs/RESTful JSON.
• Exposure to Oracle, and ability to write simple SQL queries.
• Experience working with design and testing of APIs, database/SQL, Cloud environments
• Strong analytical skills to research and review existing systems and recommend designs
• Effectively communicate technical concepts to the internal partners inside and outside of the Scrum team

• Ensure the end-to-end delivery of requirements or user stories meets the needs and expectations of our business partners

Other

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, etc. or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of strong Systems Analysis experience
• Ability to communicate effectively with and to influence team members and external groups
• Ability to effectively navigate the organization to achieve outcomes
• Proven ability to work on multiple efforts simultaneously
