National Instruments Corporation is seeking a Principal Systems Analyst to assess and analyze system needs and develop system requirements and solution design for enterprise software solutions.
Requirements
- 7 years of experience in systems analysis and working with development teams.
- 5 years of experience working in Agile processes, Agile ceremonies, and testing methodologies.
- 5 years of experience in applying the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to build software applications.
- 5 years of experience communicating technical issues and limitations to product owners and business stakeholders.
- Analyze, understand, and document the flow of information between applications, databases, and third party (client/vendor) systems for data and reporting.
- Prepare user acceptance tests and perform functional, acceptance and regression testing.
- Create mockups and/or wireframes to assist the development team in creating user interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Assess and analyze system needs and work with business and IT stakeholders to develop system requirements and solution design.
- Analyze, identify, and create requirements for solutions to business problems.
- Analyze and map system capabilities to create options to satisfy requirements or make trade-offs.
- Describe and communicate the potential impacts from system changes.
- Propose innovative operational changes including people, processes, and systems.
- Assist in cost/benefit analysis and process modeling.
- Diagnose system and data issues and work across teams to resolve.
Other
- Telecommuting limited to one day per work week; must work in the office the remaining four days.
- Work in an Agile Development team that develops and supports enterprise software solutions.
- Ensure change management to enable business readiness for uptake of new capabilities.
- Support an Agile development team through work with product owners and customers to enable implementation decisions.
- Facilitate Agile team ceremonies.
