Raytheon's Integrated Air & Missile Defense Systems (IAMDS) department is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to develop complex systems for the Raytheon Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS) mission area, aiming to architect technical solutions for challenging defense problems.
Requirements
- Experience of radar systems (for example - PATRIOT, LTAMDS, AN/TPY-2 and others)
- Experience with both broad, large-scale data analysis and focused root-cause analysis
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning
- Experience with design of system level architecture
- Experience with signal processing techniques, system control
- Experience of Electronic Warfare/Electronic Attack/Electronic Protection Techniques
- Familiarity with MATLAB, DOORS, and MS Office
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for concept and requirements development, including decomposition and flow-down
- You will be responsible for concept of Operations (CONOPS) development and design
- You will be responsible for algorithm optimization, research and development; trade studies to bring new, advanced features to fielded system
- You will be responsible for functional analysis of real world and test data
- You will be responsible for multi-disciplinary development efforts across the kill-chain for an Air and Missile Defense System
- You will collaborate with customer to bring new capabilities to the warfighter
Other
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Secret - Current
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 8 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience.
- Ability to obtain security clearance.
