Microsoft Azure Core is looking to accelerate Azure Cloud expansion and meet the future scale demanded of Microsoft Cloud's hardware fleet lifecycle by designing developer tools and platforms.

Requirements

  • 6+ years working on developer platforms, orchestration platforms and building large-scale distributed systems.
  • 8+ years of experience working with graph databases and developer languages used to manage resources within cloud environments.

Responsibilities

  • design developer tools and platforms that help accelerate Azure Cloud expansion and meet the future scale demanded of Microsoft Cloud’s hardware fleet lifecycle.
  • drive ongoing innovation in this area meeting increasing customer demands while improving engineering velocity.
  • define strategy, drive innovation (including AI-powered capabilities), and deliver measurable impact on Azure’s business and customer trust.
  • Innovate product management practices across Azure services and champion the adoption of generative AI tools to streamline planning, feedback-loop synthesis, and engineering system efficiency, setting a new standard for scalable, data-informed decision-making across the platform.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends in cloud infrastructure and advancements in product management, ensuring our approach and practices remain cutting-edge.
  • You will provide strategic help to cross-divisional teams as they work with Software and Hardware Engineering to design technical solutions.
  • You’ll drive cross-divisional teams to define success criteria and provide strategic knowledge to help them understand return on investment.

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development + OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 1+ years people management experience.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
