Coupang is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Technical Program Manager to lead company-wide technically complex programs with high impact and urgency.

Requirements

  • Strong functional, technical, analytical & design capability to understand Common & shared platforms, web, security, & services API with underlying data.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and AI/ML technologies including Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow, and orchestration (e.g.Kubernetes)
  • Hands-on experience leading projects in AI/ML lifecycle model and Ml Ops including model training, inferencing (SageMaker, KubeFlow), model registry
  • Experience in Gen AI technologies such as LLMs, foundation models, Gen AI use cases
  • Strong technical background with the ability to understand and contribute to architecture and design discussions.
  • Experience in defining and executing program strategies and roadmaps.
  • Proficiency in software design architecture and analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage complex, high-impact technical programs across the company.
  • Drive architecture solutioning and design options, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
  • Provide technical vision and leadership for AI/ML, Cloud based solutions.
  • Solve complex problems by leveraging deep technical expertise and innovative thinking.
  • Creates, evolves, and communicates specifications for feature areas that enable cohesive, compatible, iterable scenarios that span multiple feature teams and enable a durable multi-year vision
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and customer-centricity.
  • Ensure timely delivery of programs, managing risks, conflicts and dependencies effectively.

Other

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in technical program management, with a proven track record of leading large-scale, high-impact programs.
  • 5+ years of people management experience.
  • Strong executive presence, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and analytically.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving innovation.
