Requirements
- Strong experience with Windows and Linux development environments, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
- Foundational knowledge in networking, troubleshooting systems, and modern OS development concerns.
- Experience with database and query languages, cloud development, and deployment practices.
- Expertise in one or more areas: RF systems, electronic warfare, cybersecurity, ML/AI applied to RF/cyber, or signal processing.
- Experience with software-defined radios (SDRs), RF test equipment, and integration with hardware systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Experience with Python, C, and Rust programming languages
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of junior software developers.
- Develop and maintain software across multiple programming languages, including Python, C, and Rust.
- Own the software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and troubleshooting at customer sites.
- Contribute to R&D efforts in software-defined radios, spectrum operations, and electronic warfare.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including RF, mechanical, electrical engineers, and cybersecurity professionals.
- Participate in lab experiments and field testing to validate systems and assess performance.
- Assist in documentation, technical writing, and preparation of materials for internal and external stakeholders.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; 5+ years of software development experience (2+ years with a degree).
- US citizen with ability to obtain Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Proven ability to lead teams, mentor engineers, and manage R&D efforts.
