Apple User Privacy Team is looking for a leader to manage privacy engineers who work with teams all across the company to identify privacy risks, design architectures and mitigations that reduce the exposure of user data.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience with background in privacy
- 5+ years experience with generative ai, location, sensor data (e.g. camera, audio, motion)
- Strong technical background and ability to communicate complex technical, logical, or process issues in a timely, concise, and objective manner
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Privacy Engineers that support Apple’s promise of “great features and privacy” through reviewing features, crafting architecture, and working with teams to build new features to protect user privacy - from Wi-Fi MAC address randomization to Differential Privacy.
- Guide technical direction for your team, improve internal processes, and lead efforts with other engineering teams, as well as Legal, Security, Product Marketing, and Human Interface.
- Identify privacy risks, design architectures and mitigations that reduce the exposure of user data.
- Lead your team to identify emerging threats and partner with other engineering teams to design and deliver the next generation of privacy preserving features to address them.
- Providing and scaling privacy analysis, mentorship, and expertise across many Apple feature areas.
