Apple User Privacy Team is looking for an outstanding leader to manage privacy engineers who work with teams all across the company to identify privacy risks, design architectures and mitigations that reduce the exposure of user data. Lead your team to identify emerging threats and partner with other engineering teams to design and deliver the next generation of privacy preserving features to address them.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience with background in privacy
- 5+ years experience with generative ai, location, sensor data (e.g. camera, audio, motion)
- Proven ability to lead high-performing engineering teams
- Strong technical background and ability to communicate complex technical, logical, or process issues in a timely, concise, and objective manner
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Privacy Engineers that support Apple’s promise of “great features and privacy” through reviewing features, crafting architecture, and working with teams to build new features to protect user privacy - from Wi-Fi MAC address randomization to Differential Privacy.
- Guide technical direction for your team, improve internal processes, and lead efforts with other engineering teams, as well as Legal, Security, Product Marketing, and Human Interface.
- identify privacy risks, design architectures and mitigations that reduce the exposure of user data.
- identify emerging threats and partner with other engineering teams to design and deliver the next generation of privacy preserving features to address them.
