Xcel Energy is looking for a Business Intern to assist with tasks in their Corporate Credit Card and Process Controls department to ensure compliance, mitigate risk, and support efficient operations.
Requirements
- Current student, Junior status (as of Fall 2026) or higher.
- Enrolled in programs such as supply chain, advertising, marketing, safety and health, management, human resources, training, labor relations, public relations, government relations, business administration, legal and regulatory compliance and similar.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Corporate Credit Card team from a compliance perspective in auditing expense reports to policy, reviewing receipts/back up documentation and verifying appropriate spend limitations.
- Assisting with corporate credit monthly and quarterly spend reports.
- Compliance reporting to identity that purchases meet criteria of qualified purchases on corporate credit.
- Work with the Process Controls team to assist in performing quarterly assessments.
- Gathering and compiling information from a variety of data sources to ensure company risk is mitigated.
- Data will be sent to the appropriate owner for sign off and documentation will be retained in the appropriate location.
- Individual(s) will assist with resolving any issues or discrepancies identified during review.
