Intricon needs an Engineering Manager to lead process engineering and development projects, ensuring new product programs meet economic and performance targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, biomedical engineering, physics or similar field of study or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years engineering experience; medical device experience preferred
- Broad knowledge of Project Management
- Working with R&D from initial development through prototyping and into production
- Has in-depth understanding of the various organizational functional areas
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven experience with process writing, IQ/OQ/PQ, capability analysis, equipment and fixture design and testing
Responsibilities
- Manages process engineering tasks for new product development or process improvement efforts
- Leads line balancing and lean topics for new programs
- Ensures production processes and lab practices meet requirements of applicable safety rules and regulations
- Manages moderately complex projects, involving delegation and review of work
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
- Works closely and effectively with all other departments within the organization, with customers and with suppliers
- Ensures Quality Management System requirements are met
