Intricon needs an Engineering Manager to lead process engineering and development projects, ensuring new product programs meet economic and performance targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, biomedical engineering, physics or similar field of study or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years engineering experience; medical device experience preferred
  • Broad knowledge of Project Management
  • Working with R&D from initial development through prototyping and into production
  • Has in-depth understanding of the various organizational functional areas
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven experience with process writing, IQ/OQ/PQ, capability analysis, equipment and fixture design and testing

Responsibilities

  • Manages process engineering tasks for new product development or process improvement efforts
  • Leads line balancing and lean topics for new programs
  • Ensures production processes and lab practices meet requirements of applicable safety rules and regulations
  • Manages moderately complex projects, involving delegation and review of work
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
  • Works closely and effectively with all other departments within the organization, with customers and with suppliers
  • Ensures Quality Management System requirements are met
