Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC is looking to optimize warehouse processes and systems within a Contract Logistics Warehouse environment to enhance supply chain efficiency and resilience.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of WMS platforms such as Manhattan WMOS, JDA, SCALE, Infor, or similar systems.
- Hands-on experience in system configuration, testing, and implementation.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with JIRA, Tableau, or Power BI is a plus.
- Knowledge of warehouse automation, robotics, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Understanding of transportation management systems (TMS) and yard management systems (YMS).
- Experience with technical writing for SOPs, IOPs, and process documentation.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business and operational requirements to design efficient warehouse processes.
- Configure Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and related software to optimize warehouse operations.
- Develop system workflows and process maps that align with warehouse operations and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with IT, operations, and leadership teams to implement new features and functionalities in warehouse systems.
- Develop test plans, conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and validate system changes before deployment.
- Support go-live events for new system implementations, warehouse process changes, and customer onboarding.
- Identify opportunities to enhance warehouse efficiency, reduce waste, and streamline workflows.
Other
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, process engineering, or WMS configuration within a 3PL environment.
- Ability to travel up to 50% for on-site support, training, and system rollouts.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to train and support super users and warehouse teams.
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
