Requirements
- Experience evaluation and troubleshooting manufacturing processes and machinery
- SAFETY oriented with a strong emphasis on implementing 6S ideology in all projects
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze and convert large amounts of data involving multiple variables into comprehensive, applicable insights
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, leading timelines and goals
- Deliver new and creative solutions to sophisticated problems
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience with manufacturing and/or process engineering in a production environment
Responsibilities
- Evaluate existing products, manufacturing processes, and plant wide technology improvements
- Implement new WIP inventory tracking measures that ensure accurate inventory counts
- Implement/Recommend WIP inv. staging locations in line with proper product flow & next planned process
- Troubleshooting equipment and processes by analyzing production results and data for root cause analysis
- Implement/Recommend product tracking and identification throughout the entire production cycle and through the supply chain
- Developing detailed layouts for equipment, processes, and workflow
- Researching and developing new processes, equipment, and products
Other
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or engineering technology disciplines preferred
- 5+ yrs. of experience in manufacturing and/or process engineering in a production environment preferred
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship management skills to effectively collaborate with varying levels of the organization as needed
- Strong leadership skills, to guide project teams through all planning and execution
- Excellent written and verbal comm. skills with the ability to distill sophisticated subjects to a wider audience
