As the Process Quality Engineer on-site at Jabil's Defense and Aerospace facility in St. Petersburg Florida, you will serve as the quality representative, providing technical support in collaboration with internal teams to address manufacturing-related issues.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in quality or manufacturing
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, excel, etc.
- Ability to read blueprints, specifications, engineering drawings and applicable industry standards.
- Previous experience with Lean Manufacturing techniques preferred.
- Experience in the Defense and Aerospace Industry a plus.
Responsibilities
- Review non-conforming product, CAPA, (corrective and preventive action) calibration systems, improving measuring techniques, design of gages, training, statistical support, quality planning, experimental protocols, and facilitation of root cause analysis, risk assessment and complaint investigation.
- Conduct failure investigations and problem analysis regarding customer complaints, stock evaluations, supplier quality issues, calibration out of tolerance conditions, and CAPAs (internal or audit CAPAs).
- Audit machine and process parameters to ensure adherence to requirements
- Design gauging and develop tools and techniques to measure product parameters to assure product complies with engineering drawings.
- Communicate and resolve quality issues and apply root cause analysis to drive corrective and preventive actions.
- Provide process validation program oversight to ensure adequacy of validation activities and documentation in terms of regulatory compliance and technical/statistical soundness.
- Review, assess and evaluate validation protocols (IQ, OQ, PQ) for compliance to procedures and regulations, statistical validity and approval.
