The Procurement Data Analyst is critical in supporting data-driven decision-making across sourcing, supplier management, and spend optimization. Responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting procurement data to help improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure strategic alignment across procurement operations.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Experience with ERP or procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Ariba)
- Familiarity with Python, R, or other data analysis tools
Responsibilities
- Analyze procurement data including spend analysis, supplier performance, pricing trends, and contract compliance
- Develop dashboards and reports to communicate procurement KPIs and insights to stakeholders
- Support strategic sourcing initiatives with data modeling and cost-benefit analysis
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and procurement risks through data insights
- Maintain and improve procurement databases, tools, and systems
- Monitor supplier performance metrics and recommend areas for improvement
- Assist with RFP/RFQ/RFI processes by providing relevant data and analysis
Other
- 2+ years of experience in procurement, data analysis, or supply chain analytics
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of procurement best practices, contract management, and sourcing strategies
