At Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA), the business problem is to ensure product conformity and quality through routine inspections and audits, and to provide education and mentorship on the Quality Management System (QMS).
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or experience in a regulated industry
- Ability to obtain/maintain confined space certification
- Ability to obtain/maintain fall protection certification
- 5+ years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1+ years of experience in conducting Compliance, Root Cause Corrective Action
- Knowledge of Standard work and how to write and maintain Standard work
- 787 Program Experience
Responsibilities
- Perform routine product conformity inspections to design requirements
- Performs complex part inspections on electrical, structural and or aircraft systems part assemblies
- Provides objective evidence of inspection results
- Performs auditing, surveillance and monitoring
- Identifies and documents discrepancies
- Segregates and controls non-conforming items
- Support and provide oversight within the production system
