Requirements
- coursework in artificial intelligence and machine learning
- Familiarity with Python, C++, or scripting languages
- experience with AI/ML frameworks is a plus
Responsibilities
- Developing and testing AI-assisted applications for engineering platforms and product systems
- Writing clean, maintainable code in Python, C++, or scripting languages for AI-enabled tools and using AI-assisted coding agents to accelerate development workflows
- Collaborating with internal customers to troubleshoot, test, and refine AI-driven processes
- Supporting the integration of AI into truck-specific applications and ensuring correct functionality
- Documenting development workflows, process improvements, and system enhancements
- Participating in peer reviews, engineering discussions, and innovation workshops
Other
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Strong interest in AI, robotics, and automation applications
- Willingness to travel or relocate to Oshkosh, WI for the summer internship
- Housing provided for interns living more than 50 miles from the work location
