Aurora Parts is looking to improve the accuracy and richness of product data within their PDM system to enhance search capabilities, SEO, and customer experience for their heavy-duty aftermarket trailer parts portfolio.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools (Power BI a plus).
- Ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable business insights.
Responsibilities
- Collect and validate product attributes for heavy-duty trailer parts, ensuring data accuracy within the PDM system.
- Build part number setup forms by applying knowledge of categories, subcategories, and business rules for descriptions.
- Support eCommerce by developing optimized product titles and metadata to enhance SEO and faceted search.
- Analyze product sales, pricing, and market performance across customer segments and channels.
- Identify underperforming SKUs and recommend corrective actions (e.g., rationalization, repositioning).
- Research competitor products, pricing strategies, and market positioning.
- Gather feedback from distributors, sales reps, and industry resources.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in sourcing, product, category, or market analysis (aftermarket or heavy-duty industries preferred).
- Familiarity with trailer and/or truck parts strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Procurement, and Operations to ensure product availability and accurate positioning.
