MSI is looking to solve challenges in the insurance industry by developing new and innovative insurance products and managing a growing national portfolio of admitted and surplus lines products.
Requirements
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Working knowledge of other technical programs is highly desired but not required (e.g. SQL, Python)
- Related experience in insurance product management preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the insurance industry
- Bachelor’s Degree in economics, business administration, mathematics/statistics, finance or other quantitative discipline, or equivalent work experience
Responsibilities
- Conduct analyses of business results, marketplace trends, new market opportunities
- Create data-driven recommendations based on analyses & understanding of business objectives
- Design new product enhancements & build the required product documentation required for internal use and DOI filings
- Conduct annual rate proposals to ensure assigned LOB is at rate adequacy and pricing segmentation is effective
- Conduct post-implementation QC’ing and results evaluation for new launches
- Coordinate with internal ops/IT/sales teams to problem-solve and resolve issues
- Assist Product Manager on managing the d2d operations, including: addressing carrier questions, responding to DOI inquiries, etc
