Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Product Analytics Engineer to turn product data into insights to support new product development, continuous product improvement, productivity enhancements, and condition monitoring in the Oil and Gas division.
Requirements
- Technical understanding – mechanical, diesel engine, electrical systems, electronic control systems, or generators a plus
- Experience with Grafana Labs
- Test engineering experience in large batches of data/telemetry a plus
- Demonstrated real world coding experience in Python and SQL
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze client/project requirements to understand needs
- Find/collect product and supporting data required for client requests/projects
- Analysis of data or development of algorithms using different tools/methods available to provide insights to client or objective of project
- Presentation/Communication/Visualization of results and collaborate with client/project lead to ensure requirements have been met
- Other duties as assigned

- Requires a degree in an accredited Mechanical or Mechanical Engineering Technology curriculum
