The company is seeking a Product Application Specialist to join the Sales Team to provide technical support and act as a product advocate, ensuring customer satisfaction and supporting the sales team in executing business plans.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in engineering + Equivalent work experience required
- 2 years of plumbing / HVAC industry-related experience is desired but not required
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in: Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Computer-Aided Design Software, CRM
- Ability to read mechanical blueprints
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to travel up to 25%
Responsibilities
- Resolve internal and external technical support requests or issues related to product selection, application, specification, installation, etc...
- Prepare basic takeoffs based on plan review and specifications; develop system sizing, layout and accurate bill of materials.
- Maintain expert level of product knowledge and application.
- Travel to project sites to provide technical support and training services.
- Provide status of ongoing projects and future projects.
- Work with Manufacturers Representatives’, wholesale distributors and installers to quote, follow-up and close business
- Identify and communicate customer's needs and sales opportunities to help future growth
Other
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Required to wear Safety Glasses & Steel/Composite toe shoes while in Warehouse or Manufacturing Areas
