Southwest Boulder & Stone is looking for a Product Assistant/Material Yard Assistant/Forklift Operator to join their team in Fullerton, CA to assist with customer service, product handling, and yard operations.
Requirements
- Prior forklift experience/certification a plus
- Operate forklifts
Responsibilities
- Load customer vehicles, checking for accuracy
- Weigh trucks when needed
- Ensure proper tagging, weighing, and storage of products
- Ensure scales and yard areas are clean of debris
- Maintain tool cleanliness and product organization/visibility in yard
- Operate equipment as needed using checklist and safety measures
- Assist Drivers when needed
Other
- Meet & Greet customers
- Assist customers with product selection and sales
- Coordinate yard upkeep with yard foreman
- Establish sales leads from customers
- Participate in progressive training on current and new product lines
- Complete product knowledge testing
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work rotational weekends
- Learn material within a successful timeline
- Candidates may be subject to pre-employment drug testing and/or background screening.
- Full-time hourly position.
- Mon-Sat (with rotating weekends).
- Off every Sunday.
