Our client, a social media company, needs additional support to provide advice and counsel due to one of their attorneys going on leave, specifically to support the launch of their virtual reality product to businesses and direct consumers.
Requirements
- Prior experience working in-house to support a consumer-facing technology product
- Experience advising on consumer-related issues, including privacy policies, data use, storage, and deletion
- Experience with content regulation, and integrity matters
- Experience with commercial transactions related to technology products
Responsibilities
- Advising on consumer-related issues, including privacy policies, data use, storage, and deletion
- Advising on content regulation, and integrity matters
- Advising on training and education materials for the platform
- Handling applicable commercial transactions that are related to the product as it launches in a new space
Other
- ASAP start, 40 hours/week, and fully remote
- Estimated duration is through the end of the year, with potential to extend
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Law
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative legal environment
- Communication between engineering, product managers, and subject matter experts is the norm
