DigitalCM is seeking to bring software products to market, requiring a Product Commercialization and Software Manager to lead the transition from development to market, working with developers, sales, and leadership to oversee licensing, pricing, distribution, and marketing strategies.

Requirements

  • Experience working with development teams to bring products to market
  • Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Trello, etc.
  • Strong understanding of software development processes
  • Expertise in commercialization (e.g., pricing models, distribution strategies)
  • Knowledge of how to integrate AI tools into applications and workflows
  • Experience scaling products in growing small tech companies
  • Previous experience aligning with government contracting requirements

Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate the product vision
  • Define and prioritize features based on rigorous market analysis, customer feedback, and business objectives
  • Architect and execute our commercialization strategy
  • Develop pricing models, licensing agreements, and distribution plans (app stores, enterprise sales)
  • Drive the product launch from start to finish
  • Serve as the crucial link between the product vision and technical execution
  • Implement Agile/Scrum methodologies to boost team velocity and predictability

Other

  • 5+ years in product management or commercialization preferably in software/tech startups
  • Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with proven skills as a writer
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for accuracy and quality
