DigitalCM is seeking to bring software products to market, requiring a Product Commercialization and Software Manager to lead the transition from development to market, working with developers, sales, and leadership to oversee licensing, pricing, distribution, and marketing strategies.
Requirements
- Experience working with development teams to bring products to market
- Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Trello, etc.
- Strong understanding of software development processes
- Expertise in commercialization (e.g., pricing models, distribution strategies)
- Knowledge of how to integrate AI tools into applications and workflows
- Experience scaling products in growing small tech companies
- Previous experience aligning with government contracting requirements
Responsibilities
- Define and communicate the product vision
- Define and prioritize features based on rigorous market analysis, customer feedback, and business objectives
- Architect and execute our commercialization strategy
- Develop pricing models, licensing agreements, and distribution plans (app stores, enterprise sales)
- Drive the product launch from start to finish
- Serve as the crucial link between the product vision and technical execution
- Implement Agile/Scrum methodologies to boost team velocity and predictability
Other
- 5+ years in product management or commercialization preferably in software/tech startups
- Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with proven skills as a writer
- Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment
- Detail-oriented with a passion for accuracy and quality
