Monroe Truck Equipment needs to maintain and improve quoting and ordering custom products processes and procedures to ensure proper information flow throughout the entire order fulfillment value stream from quoting through delivery and includes after sales parts and service.
Requirements
- Knowledge of configurator and ERP software
- Ability solve problems utilizing common lean and other continuous improvement tools
- Basic knowledge of chassis, manufactured equipment, vendor materials
Responsibilities
- Defines and manages product configuration rules
- Maintains and improves product models, attributes, and options in designated configuration software
- Oversee parts, pricing and labor costs in configurator
- Reviews and approves all product configuration changes and updates
- Facilitates configurator process audits
- Coordinates and improves bill of materials structures
- Ensure bill of materials accuracy for online after sales catalogs and product manuals
