Martin's Family is looking to solve the problem of coordinating stale and finished product distribution, returns, and orders efficiently in their multi-facility company.
Requirements
- Prior Electric Pallet Jack experience required.
- Ability to operate or learn to operate an electric jack.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement, volume, and distance.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Transports finished product via an electric-jack from the palletizer to the storage location or a tractor-trailer in an accurate and orderly fashion.
- Ensures each pallet is strapped correctly.
- Maintains the supply of pallets to the palletizing machines.
- Removes broken or dirty baskets and pallets from circulation.
- Examines and removes any defective product from the pallets.
- Checks product clips to ensure the accurate color, price, and date are used.
- Receives, picks, verifies, and loads product orders.
Other
- High School Diploma or GED;
- Related experience or training helpful.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
- Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
