Requirements
- Strong knowledge of machine learning and statistical methods, including classical ML, deep learning, NLP, and anomaly detection.
- Expertise in experimental design, hypothesis testing, regression, classification, and clustering.
- Proficient in Python, Java, or Typescript.
- Experience with optimized SQL for data analysis.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably GCP.
- Exposure to big data tools such as BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake, Spark, and Beam.
- Preferred: Experience with Kubernetes, open source tooling, graph databases, matchmaking, 3D event data analysis, SaaS product development, video gaming industry, startup environments, or technical writing.
Responsibilities
- Analyze large game telemetry datasets to uncover player relationships, feature usage trends, security threats, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Design and test data-driven solutions to enhance new player retention and automate insights.
- Develop methods to identify, surface, and mitigate non-human bot activity.
- Translate data-driven solutions into product features for automation and broader use.
- Present findings and explain complex data model discoveries to the team.
- Spearhead cross-functional projects, coordinating with multiple teams.
- Drive product and feature innovation by identifying and prioritizing new initiatives.
