Google is looking to solve the problem of extending human capability by making computing more perceptive, immersive, and helpful through the power of multimodal AI, specifically in the context of Android Extended Reality (XR) and spatial computing.
Requirements
- 5 years of work experience with analysis applications (extracting insights, performing statistical analysis, or solving business problems), and coding (Python, R, SQL)
- Experience in applying AI/ML to Data Science questions, from inception to completion.
- Experience in extracting and analysing large sets of data with SQL and in designing ETL flows.

Responsibilities
- Perform analysis by utilizing relevant tools (e.g., SQL, R, Python). Using comprehensive technical knowledge, use custom data infrastructure or existing data models.
- Own the process of gathering, extracting, and compiling data across sources via relevant tools (e.g., SQL, R, Python). Format, re-structure, and validate data to ensure quality.
- Report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support business reviews with cross-functional/organizational leadership team. Translate analysis results to business insights or product improvement opportunities.
- Provide analytical insights and recommendations to influence product feature development decisions, and with some guidance.
- Partner with PM, Engineering and other Android teams to provide product and strategy insights that will improve performance and help scale the product/features.
- Weave stories with meaningful insight from data.
- Make critical recommendations for fellow Googlers in Engineering and Product Management.
Other
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Economics, or a related quantitative field (preferred).
- 5 years of work experience (or 2 years with a Master's degree).
- US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
- Ability to communicate findings to a team leader and other stakeholders.
