Marvin is looking to solve the problem of designing innovative new products and improving the performance and design of existing products through the Design Engineer II role.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of 3D Modeling software (Inventor preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite required
- 2-4 years of Engineering design and development experience; demonstrated a proven track record of success on product development and/or continuous improvement projects.
Responsibilities
- Independently lead product design activity and test plans; able to manage and prioritize tasks for multiple and/or complex work packages.
- Apply applicable knowledge to product component and assembly designs to meet project performance goals and align with established project strategy.
- Perform and document moderately complex engineering calculations and analysis, and work with vendors to develop production component designs.
- Independently develop or review designs in 3D CAD to ensure fit, form, and function are correct.
- Verify drawings and specifications for accuracy and design intent.
- Communicate product design activities both formally and informally among peers and department leadership.
- Able to work with and leverage operations, materials, marketing, sales, support, and project managers to achieve project goals.

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.S.) required
