Apple is looking to enhance its existing product lines and enable new technologies by integrating traditional mechanical components into softgoods, creating soft products that are both breathtaking and extremely functional. This role will define Softgoods architectures and design, develop, and ship Softgoods products that will amaze and delight customers.
Requirements
- extensive CAD experience
- NX experience
- Previous Softgoods and / or wearables product design
Responsibilities
- designing and building prototypes in partnership with our elite Industrial Design team
- collaborate with talented engineers and scientists across Apple to create Softgoods products for Vision Pro, AirPods Max, HomePods and other new product categories
- learn how to seamlessly integrate electrical and mechanical components into Softgoods to create soft products that are both breathtaking and highly functional
Other
- BS Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 7+ years of product design
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, including the ability to present technical concepts to a multi-disciplinary team
- MS Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 12+ years of product design
