Requirements
- CAD and drawings (GD&T)
- Plastic and metal part design
- Design for Manufacturability, Design for Assembly
- Analytical and problem solving skills as applied to Mechanical Engineering
- Working knowledge of FEA
- Application of statistical tools and techniques
- Strong materials knowledge
Responsibilities
- Define and design the future of WATCH
- Build the next generation of the world's most advanced wearable device
- Work closely with cross-functional teams like Industrial Design, Electrical Engineering, Antenna, Reliability, Sensors, Environmental, and Marketing to bring future products to life
- Design all of the mechanical parts that make up the Watch in all sizes and materials
- Design metal mesh, metal link, and rubber bracelets
- Go beyond the industry norm and demonstrate creativity in problem solving
- Adapt quickly to new technical areas
