- 3+ years in detailed part and product design
- CAD and drawings (GD&T)
- Plastic and metal part design
- Design for Manufacturability, Design for Assembly
- Analytical and problem solving skills as applied to Mechanical Engineering
- Working knowledge of FEA
- Application of statistical tools and techniques
Responsibilities
- Define and design the future of WATCH.
- build the next generation of the world's most advanced wearable device.
- responsible for all of the mechanical parts that make up the Watch in all sizes and materials, as well as the metal mesh, metal link, and rubber bracelets.
- demonstrate creativity in problem solving
- ability to think dynamically and outside of standard convention
- adapt quickly to new technical areas.
- promote innovation and new technology to further improve Apple's hardware performance and user experience.
