Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of how Software Product Design plays an integral role in shaping experiences in mission critical autonomous and command & control domains.
- Own a feature or workflow end-to-end running discovery, design exploration, prototyping, and implementation with engineers.
- Leverage Anduril's existing design system components and interaction patterns while exercising your design fundamental skills: typography, color & icon usage, and layout.
- Define solutions based on an understanding of the end-user needs, product, and business goals.
- Develop a deep understanding of operator workflows and mission context through observation and engagement with end users (or proxy subject matter experts).
- Participate in user research sessions and practice synthesis of learnings with guidance from your manager or lead.
- Share work early and often – soliciting input from cross-functional partners and stakeholders.

- Must be a rising senior at the time of internship and returning to school at the end of internship to continue academic studies for at least one quarter/semester.
- Holds or in the process of obtaining a Bachelors degree in design (HCD, interaction, visual) or design related field.

- Ability to work on-site in Costa Mesa, CA or Seattle, WA
