Improve Andersen's existing window and door products or innovate on future products to address customer needs and wants
Requirements
- Working knowledge of relevant product design tools such as CAD, Photoshop, rendering software, customer journey mapping, and story boards
- Knowledge and experience hands on prototyping and user research
Responsibilities
- Lead design brainstorms and iteration for product enhancements
- Create new designs based on inputs
- Lead discussions with engineering, marketing, and sales to gather feedback and iterate
- Evolve the designs for function and manufacturability
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings with explicit objectives and scope
Other
- Enrollment in a 4-year program toward completion of Product Design or Industrial Design degree, GPA 3.0 or higher
- Excellent communicator – written, verbal, presenting, listening, surveying, interviewing
