Epsilon is looking to solve the problem of connecting strategic business objectives with user needs in their product development process, particularly in the context of their industry-leading marketing platform, Epsilon PeopleCloud.

Requirements

  • Experience with qualitative UX research methods including user interviews, usability testing, and workshop facilitation.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize research data into actionable insights.
  • Experience using diagrammatic visualization tools to communicate relationships, processes, and concepts.
  • Familiarity with design thinking methodologies and strategic design principles.
  • Experience with developing approaches centered on strategy and research.
  • A portfolio showcasing experience with developing approaches centered on strategy and research.
  • Experience with AI-driven technological landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and analyze user research to identify unmet needs, problems, and opportunities for innovation across our product ecosystem.
  • Investigate complex business problems through the definition of clear research questions and identification / implementation of relevant research / design methodologies.
  • Create and maintain user personas, role descriptions, task flows, and journey maps to build shared understanding across teams.
  • Facilitate workshops and collaborative sessions with partners to align user needs and strategic product direction.
  • Synthesize research insights into actionable recommendations that influence product roadmaps.
  • Develop narrative frameworks and storytelling approaches (using schematic, low-fidelity wireframes and prototypes) that communicate conceptual design intent and value across products.
  • Create process documentation including swim lane diagrams, concept maps, and speculative design artifacts that explore potential futures and strategic directions.

Other

  • A Bachelor's degree in Product Design, UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or related field (a master's degree, with experience in academic / disciplinary research, is preferred).
  • 1-2 years of experience in product design, UX research, design strategy, service design, or related field (relevant internship experience will be considered).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas.
  • The ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and build collaborative relationships.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced product development environment.
