Cummins Inc. is looking for a Product Design Technician - Level IV to join their Engineering team in Jamestown, NY, to elevate product quality, ensure drawing and model integrity, and strengthen product reliability through specialized design knowledge and risk evaluation.
Requirements

- Practical troubleshooting of equipment, test rigs, or prototypes
Responsibilities
- Apply specialized design knowledge to elevate product quality.
- Ensure drawing and model integrity from concept to release.
- Create assemblies and concept models that ensure seamless fit and function.
- Analyze and validate designs using cutting-edge tools.
- Evaluate engineering risks to strengthen product reliability.
- Produce solid models, detailed drawings, and bills of materials that clearly communicate design intent across teams and meet all relevant standards.
- Track and control design changes from concept to obsolescence, maintaining the integrity of product baselines throughout.
