Apple's Applications Group is seeking a Product Designer to work on consumer software applications across Apple's device ecosystem, aiming to create expressive, creative, and collaborative experiences that set new standards for the industry and connect people in meaningful ways.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of work experience with a focus on product design and UI across a variety of platforms like iOS, iPadOS, macOS or others.
  • Experience in shipping digital products from start to finish including the documentation and development process.
  • Ability to clearly communicate concepts and designs through prototypes, sketches, high-fidelity comps, and presentations.
  • Highly skilled and fast in any tools you need to visualize your ideas and deliver the work.
  • Enthusiasm and history working in an iterative design process, motivated by group critique.
  • Demonstrated creative and innovative problem solving and a willingness to take the lead where needed.
  • A passion and eye for visual detail in proportion, type, motion, and interaction.

Responsibilities

  • From brainstorming through implementation, the Product Designer will work with members of the Applications design team, as well as our engineering, marketing, and QA groups.
  • You have the ability to quickly grasp and distill highly complex matters into clean, understandable solutions.
  • The Product Designer is a key player in resolving future design direction of Apple’s consumer apps.
  • We are looking for a visionary designer who is ready to and capable of taking software design to the next level.
