Requirements
- Solid experience with UX and UI design, with a portfolio demonstrating strong visual craft and well-reasoned design decisions.
- Proven ability to lead projects end-to-end — from strategy to launch — with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to rapidly generate multiple design concepts, iterate based on data and feedback, and deliver under fast-paced conditions.
- Familiarity with front-end development or ability to work closely with engineers on implementation details.
- Experience working with data-driven design, A/B testing, and continuous iteration.
- 3+ years of experience designing for consumer-facing products across mobile and web, ideally in video consumption, social, or content creation products.
- Interest in AI-driven design
Responsibilities
- Own and drive design for TikTok’s core product experience, including video consumption framework, video-related components, and user account & customer service modules.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, researchers, UX writers, and engineers to define problems, generate ideas, and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in every step of the product development process — from early concept ideation, wireframing, and prototyping to pixel-perfect design and post-launch iteration.
- Translate product strategy and user insights into intuitive flows and engaging UI, with strong attention to visual quality and consistency.
- Rapidly prototype, gather feedback from stakeholders, iterate quickly, and ship best-in-class user experiences.
- Continuously optimize designs through data analysis, usability testing, and A/B experimentation to improve key metrics.
- Drive the end-to-end experience of key business modules — including video consumption framework and components, account system, and customer service modules — helping millions of users enjoy a seamless and delightful experience.
