Apple's Applications Group is seeking a Product Designer to help create the future of Notes, aiming to craft expressive, creative, and collaborative experiences that set new standards for the industry.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of design experience in a design studio or as a product designer
  • You have a solid portfolio and breadth of work that demonstrates your skill and you can confidently speak to your work
  • You clearly communicate concepts and designs through prototypes, sketches, high-fidelity comps, and presentations
  • You are highly skilled and fast in the tools you need to visualize your ideas and deliver the work
  • You thrive in an iterative design process and are motivated by group critique
  • You can rapidly prototype in Principle, SwiftUI, or other prototyping tools
  • You are interested in and familiar with AI (a major plus, but not required)

Responsibilities

  • craft and develop innovative features through thoughtful interaction design and nuanced visual design
  • quickly grasp and distill intricate design challenges into sophisticated and beautiful solutions
  • produce comprehensive, precise deliverables under tight deadlines while balancing input from cross-functional stakeholders
  • clearly communicate concepts and designs through prototypes, sketches, high-fidelity comps, and presentations
  • rapidly prototype in Principle, SwiftUI, or other prototyping tools
  • design inclusive and accessible products

  • You are a nimble, effective diplomat with an aptitude for collaboration and persuasive communication
  • Keen attention to detail and effective organizational skills are a must, as well as the ability to navigate rapid change and ambiguity
  • You excel in written and verbal communication and can present your work effectively to large groups and executives
  • You hold a bachelor’s degree (preferred but not required)
  • You have a passion for Apple, its products, and its customers
