Medline Industries is building a digital supply chain control tower, Mpower, to strengthen resiliency for their healthcare customers and needs a Product Designer to shape intuitive workflows and seamless user experiences

Requirements

  • Experience using research and analytics to inform design
  • Experience applying best practices for mobile design, usability principles, and techniques
  • Experience working with peers and cross-functional team members from inception through implementation
  • Experience in web and mobile architecture
  • Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies
  • Experience creating user-centered design solutions represented by a portfolio of work
  • Experience designing customer-facing applications in healthcare and or supply chain industries

Responsibilities

  • Create user-centered designs by considering market segment analysis, customer feedback, site metrics and usability findings
  • Apply understanding of business needs and communicate vision to senior stakeholders
  • Design the visual style, interface, and interaction flow of applications and experiences
  • Develop conceptual diagrams, wireframes, visual mockups, click-throughs and prototypes
  • Develop and maintain detailed user-interface specifications and design patterns
  • Present design work to the product team and stakeholders for review and feedback
  • Work with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to identify, define, and design solutions to improve the customer experience

Other

  • Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience
  • At least 2 years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, hybrid designer, or similar role
  • Must be able to work closely with business stakeholders, leadership, developers, and actual end users
  • Must be creative, customer-focused, and comfortable turning complex needs into simple, usable designs
  • Must be able to think outside the box, present options and recommendations, and directly influence how healthcare organizations experience Mpower
