Siemens Energy, Inc. is seeking a Product Detail Design Detailer to create drawings, models, assemblies, and bills of material to industrial and company standards for their Turbo Compression products (TCP). This role aims to ensure manufacturing efficiency, compatibility between parts, and support quality control by evaluating vendor drawings and addressing non-conformances.
Requirements
- Proficient in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management)(Team Center/Globus) and ERP (Enterprise resource planning) systems (SAP), with a strong foundation in Microsoft Office and advanced 2D/3D CAD skills.
- Associate's degree in drafting/CAD or relevant certifications, with 0-2 years of experience, preferably in NX design drafting.
- Exhibits strong analytical capabilities, capable of performing detailed engineering calculations with a high level of attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Create all drawings, models, assemblies, and bills of material to industrial and company standards.
- Generate detailed component drawings and materials lists for centrifugal compressors (that include components such as bearings, seals, stationary and rotating components), ensuring manufacturing efficiency and compatibility between parts.
- Craft precise drawings and models by employing cost-effective manufacturing techniques for machined and fabricated parts.
- Employ proper dimensioning techniques in accordance with drafting standards and perform self-verification of drawing and material accuracy.
- Support quality control by assisting in the evaluation of vendor drawings and addressing part non-conformances alongside factory inspectors and design engineers.
- Engage in process improvement initiatives and contribute to the development and enhancement of design tools, product improvements, and engineering standards for turbomachinery.
- Undertake additional tasks as needed to ensure the overall success of the product line.
