The Product Development Associate role is looking to solve the business problem of supporting the wholesale footwear business by managing division samples and product development initiation and follow up with overseas agents at Steve Madden.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain all production spec sheets with overseas agents.
- Approve all incoming submits for fabric, color and trims.
- Responsible for all sample procedures for division
- Correct incoming sales, confirmation, and fit samples. Communicate these changes and specs to overseas agents.
- Update and maintain division Line sheets.
- Ship samples overseas
- Production set up.
Other
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 2-4 years of industry experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a multi-task, high pressure environment.
- Ability to conduct interpersonal interactions including coaching, negotiating, selling, group presentations, etc.
