The company needs a Product Development Associate to manage and initiate product development for the wholesale footwear business, ensuring smooth communication with overseas agents and timely resolution of production issues.
Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain all production spec sheets with overseas agents.
- Approve all incoming submits for fabric, color and trims.
- Responsible for all sample procedures for division
- Correct incoming sales, confirmation, and fit samples. Communicate these changes and specs to overseas agents.
- Update and maintain division Line sheets.
- Ship samples overseas
- Production set up.
Other
- This position is based in our LIC office and requires working on-site five days per week.
- Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines with support and resources as needed
- Ability to conduct interpersonal interactions including coaching, negotiating, selling, group presentations, etc.
- Ability to work in a multi-task, high pressure environment.
- 2-4 years of industry experience.
